Senior Quality Manager IT Project Raleigh NC -Remote 1 year contract The Senior Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery, vendor performance, process adherence, and compliance with Federal requirements to ensure continued project funding. As a core implementation team member, the role includes Project Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Continuous Improvement to drive high-quality outcomes in a complex IT modernization effort.Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Monitor vendor and project performance, establish tracking/reporting systems, ensure compliance with HHS, CMS, ACF, and USDA FNS standards. Quality Control: Oversee vendor deliverables, testing strategies (integration, end-to-end, regression, performance), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Continual Improvement: Work with IV&V and audit teams to proactively identify areas of improvement, implement corrective actions, and optimize project execution. Leadership & Communication: Supervise teams, engage with State agencies, vendors, and stakeholders, and present findings to executive audiences.Preferred Qualifications: Expert in SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Experience with Federal & State compliance in IT projects. Strong background in testing automation, vendor assessments, and quality management. Certifications in ITIL, Six Sigma, and familiarity with PMI/PMBOK frameworks.
