The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Senior Level GIS Technical Architect contractor for an approximate 12 month engagement assigned to the GIS Unit. Job Description: This Senior Level GIS Technical Specialist position provides technical assistance and support for both the implementation of the GIS conversion tools for the ROWMS project, and the legislative mandate to identify and then maintain a list of residue state properties for potential resale. This resource will be dedicated to this effort through implementation and stabilization. In addition, this resource has been tasked with upgrading Mileage Reporting efforts and works closely with the Photogrammetry Unit to develop custom GIS toolboxes for aerial photo footprints.
