Job Description -Cybersecurity EngineerMust have linkedin.Location: RemoteMust Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly or Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Job Overview:We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide security architecture, risk management, and system hardening expertise for a government intelligence program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enforcing security controls to protect classified networks and sensitive data from emerging cyber threats. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure network architectures in classified environments. Develop and maintain security documentation, including ATO packages and POA&Ms. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing. Enforce Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance and NIST 800-53 security controls. Work closely with government agencies, system administrators, and developers to ensure systems are secure from insider and external threats. Utilize tools like Splunk, Nessus, Wireshark, and SIEM platforms to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats. Conduct audits and forensic investigations in response to security incidents. Provide security recommendations to enhance operational resilience. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or FSP (Required). Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or system security administration. Experience with RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIG compliance. Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions. Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ preferred.
