DURATION: 12 months+ (potential for extension) START: 02/17/2025 DETAILS TOP THREE SKILLS: Proven experience with Oracle Discoverer and Orbit Analytics. Extensive experience with Oracle R12 ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud. At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics. Demonstrated success in leading migration projects. FULL SKILL LIST: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management. Expertise in Orbit Analytics, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle R12 ERP, and Oracle Fusion Cloud. Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a comprehensive migration plan from Oracle Discoverer to Orbit Analytics. Analyze current Oracle Discoverer reports and dashboards to identify migration requirements. Design and implement solutions to migrate reports, dashboards, and data models to Orbit Analytics. Handle all aspects of development: o Understand requirements. o Use or collaborate on existing data models. o Build reports. o Conduct technical unit testing and quality assurance testing before UAT deployment. Provide technical leadership throughout the migration process. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency during migration. Optimize performance in the new Orbit Analytics environment. Leverage knowledge of Oracle R12 ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud table structures. Ensure seamless integration of Oracle R12 ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud data into Orbit Analytics. Collaborate with ERP and cloud teams to address data requirements and challenges. Work with business users to meet their reporting needs post-migration. Conduct training sessions and create supporting documentation for end-users. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders. Develop and execute test plans to validate migrated reports and dashboards. Resolve any migration-related issues and conduct post-migration reviews. Stay informed on new Orbit Analytics features and best practices. Identify opportunities for further optimization and enhancement. Provide ongoing support and maintenance post-migration. OTHER POINTS: Requirements: o Expertise in building complex physical and logical data models. o Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and joins (normal, complex, circular). o Strong knowledge of object- and data-level securities, roles, and responsibilities. o Proficiency in building complex Orbit Analytics reports with calculation measures and report insights.
