This position focuses on building a unified Finance Data Platform by developing a Data Lake on AWS/Snowflake. The candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI reporting systems to provide key financial insights. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development : Create, maintain, and optimize business intelligence reporting systems, including dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively. Report Creation : Develop interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools, ensuring data is clearly visualized for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. SQL Development : Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting from data warehouses. Visualization Techniques : Utilize visual elements such as charts, graphs, and maps to represent complex data in an easily digestible format. System Monitoring : Monitor the performance of BI systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and improvements. Documentation : Develop and maintain technical documentation for BI systems and reports, ensuring proper knowledge transfer and system understanding. Required Skills & Experience: IT Experience : 15+ years in IT, focusing on designing, developing, implementing, testing, and training BI applications with extensive expertise in data warehousing. BI Tools : Expertise in Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI (mandatory), Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Crystal Reports (12+ years of experience required). Data Modeling : Strong skills in data modeling, normalization, and database design (10+ years of experience). Power BI Expertise : Strong experience with Power BI, including Power Query for data transformation, report design, and managing Power BI Service (10+ years of experience required). SQL Expertise : Advanced SQL skills for complex data manipulation and querying (12+ years of experience required). Analytical Skills : Strong ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights (10+ years of experience required). Preferred Skills & Attributes: All of the above skills are essential for this role, with preference for additional experience in data migration and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake). Location & On-Site Requirement: Hub Locations : Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Charlotte (candidate must be local to one of these locations). This is an on-site role with expectations for candidates to work on-site at one of the listed hubs. Interview Process: Rounds : 2 rounds of interviews. Format : Video interviews.
