Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor Platform Events and Customer Tickets in Real Time

Ensure accurate ticket handling, timely escalation, and prompt resolution of platform issues by monitoring platform events and customer tickets in real time.

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to implement and support monitoring for critical services, infrastructure, and customer-facing applications.

Utilize in-depth knowledge of the environment to address and resolve open issues efficiently. Coordinate with relevant teams during incidents for effective resolution.

Conduct trend analysis to enhance service delivery and identify opportunities to automate monitoring tasks to reduce manual intervention.

Implement measures to capture and improve monitoring and alerting KPIs (e.g., MTTx) and ensure application availability and stability.

Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding application health, incidents, and resolution timelines.

Contribute to the development of documentation, best practices, and mentor team members in effective monitoring.

Generate and distribute performance reports, highlighting key metrics and trends to stakeholders on a regular basis.

Core Competencies:

Positive and Customer-Centric Attitude:  Demonstrates a proactive and customer-focused approach to providing exceptional user support.

Technical Proficiency:  Proficient in SQL, Unix commands, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana. (not mandatory, only preferred)

Scripting and Automation Skills:  Highly skilled in scripting and Python, particularly for automation tasks. . (not mandatory, only preferred)

Additional Tools:  Familiarity with PagerDuty and AppDynamics is advantageous.
