This is contract position, please revert me with updated resume if this JD matches your profile and you are interested, Title: EDI InforLN Developer (Remote) Location: Albertville, AL Duration: 6+ Months Visa : No H1B Note : (Initial 1-2 weeks in-office if local, but Remote is also fine. --- Prefer local candidates Job Description: Develop applications and processes that stand alone or work with out-of-the-box software to handle data and automate complex tasks. Perform support to maintain and fix the products through their lifecycles. Must Haves: Experience with Infor products - migrating to InforLN for cloud Infor ION integration / synchronization into Infor this stands out on a resume Sterling Integrator mapping EDI Mapping, ION configuration, testing scenarios, cross referencing mapping issues Python - strong scripting (will consider others) Addtl Requirements / Pluses: PHP - currently on PHP 8 HTML Pythong & Power BI background is good (candidate with offer had this experience) BOD Mapping - Synchronization BODS to EDI Customer and vendor negotiations Testing LN / ION integration The team supports 8 EDI communication types 101 business partners to communicate EDI 11,000 transactions per month Key Job Elements Provides application support including debugging application issues, answering questions about application and business functions; Gathers requirements for modifications to existing applications/new products; Designs solutions and outlines projects for implementation; Prioritizes tasks/projects, schedules and tracks tasks and releases in a constantly changing business environment; Supervises developers, delegates tasks, tracks progress, and reviews code changes; Reviews employees' performance, tracks SMART goals, and oversees progress of the team. Education / Training Bachelor's degree in IT-related field. Qualifications and Experience 5-7+ years of experience in IT covering all areas of the software development life cycle with position-relevant skills; thorough understanding of PHP, HTML, SQL and Javascript is absolutely needed; Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Understanding of not only how to develop applications in a certain code language/environment, but also the under workings of the servers and databases being used; Development skills for LN; good understanding of accounting; knowledge of the manufacturing process; Technical writing skills; communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with people with varying levels of IT knowledge; Analytical skills ability to quickly evaluate an issue, resolve it or implement a workaround with consistent accuracy and success.
