Please let me know if you are interested in the position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst (Workday) Location:Hybrid(Houston, TX)- will prefer local candidates Duration: 6 months contract Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT Job Description: Our client is seeking a QA Analyst with expertise in Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain to support a Workday implementation in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Jira for test management and defect tracking and is comfortable working in complex enterprise environments. Responsibilities: The QA Analyst (Workday Implementation) will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test scripts, and test cases for Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain modules while ensuring configurations align with business needs. The analyst will leverage Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting, performing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality. They will collaborate closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to identify, document, and resolve defects while ensuring that Workday business processes, reports, integrations, and security configurations meet quality standards. Additionally, the analyst will support data validation and conversion testing to ensure accuracy and completeness before deployment. A key part of the role involves working directly with end users to facilitate UAT, gather feedback, and document findings. The analyst will maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test scripts, results, and defect logs, while actively participating in daily stand-ups, defect triage meetings, and go-live readiness assessments. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of QA experience, including at least 2+ years of Workday testing across HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain, and will demonstrate strong proficiency in Jira for managing test cases and defects. Prior experience with Workday implementations in the healthcare industry is essential, as is the ability to work cross-functionally with both business and technical teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
