This role will focus on translating customer insights and research findings into intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling designs that support a Human-Centered Design (HCD) practice. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UI/UX design, user interface development, visual storytelling, and experience mapping while working cross-functionally with researchers, analysts, designers, and business stakeholders. The ability to effectively communicate design concepts and insights to leadership is essential. Key Responsibilities: UX/UI & Visual Design (50%) Convert research findings into high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and experience solutions. Design intuitive and accessible user interfaces for web, mobile, conversational AI, and touchscreen environments. Apply visual design principles, including composition, typography, color theory, and interaction design best practices. Create wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and design systems to ensure brand consistency and user engagement. Design Collaboration & Facilitation (25%) Work closely with UX researchers and business analysts to synthesize customer data into actionable design insights. Lead design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and stakeholder discussions (in-person and virtual). Partner with internal teams and external vendors to maintain design consistency and usability standards. Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement (20%) Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and visual storytelling assets to showcase design impact. Communicate the value of design and human-centered principles to cross-functional teams and leadership. Advocate for user experience best practices across the organization, ensuring research-backed decisions. Emerging Technologies & Business Process Innovation (5%) Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations. Explore the integration of AI-driven user experiences, automation, and advanced analytics into design solutions. Qualifications: Required: 5-8 years of experience in Human-Centered Design (HCD), UX/UI design, Interaction Design, and Visual Communication. Strong portfolio showcasing work in digital, mobile, and interactive platforms. Expertise in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Axure, or similar). Proficiency in design methodologies , including journey mapping, ethnography, usability research, and A/B testing. Strong understanding of Agile workflows , with experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies. Ability to translate complex research findings into clear, visually engaging design solutions. Experience designing for multi-platform environments, including touchscreen, mobile, conversational AI, and responsive web. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executives and non-design stakeholders. Nice-to-Have: Experience with Google Apps Script, IronPython, or Spotfire for interactive design enhancements. Knowledge of machine learning applications in UX/UI. Background in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotech industries.
