This will involve: This initial interview will be focused on two areas A discussion about Swift concepts , They expect a candidate to be able to clearly discuss and formulate an approach without help from the interviewer. A time based coding problem A candidate might be asked to solve a simple python based issue such as an indentation error . The core is a developer needs to understand how Python whitespace works, which is so fundamental to the language. They might also be given a SWiftUI application and asked to determine a fix, or they might be given a simple application to develop from scratch . The data structures and algorithms problems seem to be what is tripping them up the most. The difficulty of the questions is reasonably easy. They are allowed to use Google for syntax As this is a time based test, candidates need to be able to figure out a solution given allotted time, recommend they try and respect the time constraint as they need to finish within the timeframe to move forward. Key backgrounds needed : Use of SwiftUI for declarative syntax to design user interfaces that align with modern iOS development standards. Expertise with CoreData has been to implement data solutions across user experiences of multiple applications. By integrating CoreData with features like offline support and analytics visualization, delivery of scalable and maintainable applications per business needs. Experience with Swift Package Manager , which they use to streamline dependency management and modular development. Hands-on approach to integrating third-party libraries and creating custom Swift packages ensures a high-quality codebase that meets project goals efficiently. If the candidate passes the Assessment , they will be asked to sit-in on a Teams call with the EOG Engineers as a final. Sr iOS Developer We need a candidate who can go onsite 5 days a week. This position is for a lead developer who is also familiar with Android if possible. The work is currently based on SWIFTUI with latest version of iOS. This Client does not use any of the older iOS UI like UI Kit. LinkedIn profile is needed for all submitted candidates.
