Job Title: AWS Data Engineer with Java, Python & Airflow Location: Quincy, MA(onsite) Job Type: Contract Primary Skill: Java, Python , AWS, and Airflow Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data pipelines using Apache Airflow and other orchestration tools. Implement data solutions on AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, DynamoDB). Write optimized Python and Java scripts to process large datasets efficiently. Develop and maintain data lakes and warehouses, ensuring high availability and reliability. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and industry standards. Automate workflows and optimize data processing performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production data pipelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS services. Proficiency in Java and Python for data processing and automation. Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating workflows. Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop is a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
