From: Nitin Sachdeva, Atika Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position ~ HRIS Program Manager/ Technical Product Manager Location ~ Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) Duration ~ 12+ months Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HRIS Program Manager / Technical Product Manager to lead and manage the lifecycle of our HR Information Systems (HRIS) projects and initiatives. This role will involve both strategic oversight and technical management of HR technology systems, ensuring the successful implementation, enhancement, and integration of HRIS solutions. Key Responsibilities: Program Management & Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end HRIS projects, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee the HRIS roadmap, aligning technology solutions with business objectives, HR strategies, and organizational goals. Act as a key liaison between HR, IT, and business units to ensure HRIS systems meet evolving business and operational needs. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective system integrations and ongoing support. Product Management & Technical Oversight: Define and prioritize product requirements for HRIS platforms, ensuring they address business needs while maintaining technical feasibility. Serve as the technical product owner, working closely with development teams to create technical specifications and support system enhancements. Ensure HRIS solutions integrate with other enterprise systems (ERP, payroll, talent management, etc.) and optimize data flow across platforms. Evaluate, select, and manage the tools, technologies, and vendors used within the HRIS ecosystem. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Provide regular updates and status reports to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including progress, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with HR leadership to understand and define business processes and translate them into HRIS system solutions. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training for end-users to maximize adoption and system effectiveness. Continuously assess the HRIS ecosystem to ensure it aligns with business needs and deliver best-in-class HR technology solutions. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience in HRIS program management, product management, or related technical roles within HR technology. Strong experience in implementing, managing, or enhancing major HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or ADP. Proven track record of managing complex HRIS projects from ideation through implementation and optimization. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership. Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of HRIS systems architecture, integrations, and data flows. Familiarity with technical aspects of HR systems, including APIs, cloud-based platforms, data security, and integration techniques. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams). Strong understanding of HR processes (e.g., payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance).
