Title: SQL DBA Location: Remote But need local to TX Duration: 6+ Month Visa: H4,GC EAD,GC and USC State of TX- its a huge plus if they worked for there or another TX State agency (like TWC, HHSC, CPA etc) so I dont mean a client based out of texas I mean a Texas State agency Send resume and linked in and make sure they live in Austin we will check Send resume and linked in (make sure resume lists the required skills for the required years) Need 3references Job Description The Worker(s) will provide the following services: Required skills - must have minimum years listed below and it must be in the resume for the years listed 7 | Working knowledge of SQL scripting and data batch processing in legacy and current technology | 7 | Developing data conversion maps | 5-7 | Executing data conversions for large volumes of data | 5-7 | Implementing database coding standards | 7 | ETL Development experience using a tool like SSIS or Informatica | 7 | Skill in solving problems, in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing data conversion projects/programs | 7 | Data conversion and migration for enterprise level projects | 5-7 | Developing Database conceptual, logical and physical database design models to include data dictionary and library | 7 | Strong SQL Server physical database development experience (functions, stored procedures, triggers) | 7 | Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Azure SQL managed instances, and any other database management technologies | 5-7 | Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform Services, and Cloud Service delivery models | 7 | Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design | 4-7 | Strong skills in performing data analysis and ensuring data quality | 5-7 | Collibra, Informatica | 4-7 | Jira/Confluence/ALM Octane | FORM Perform database programming to modernize legacy programs for various projects. Develop simple and complex Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts for data migration and validation. Perform data profiling and analysis. Develop technical documentation including source to target mapping. Develop database code (triggers and stored procedures) for data entry and reporting. Support compliance with acceptable best practices for Data Management and Governance standards. Ensure appropriate configuration and administration of TWC technical environments. Perform unit and system testing of database code. Ensure appropriate configuration and administration of TWC technical environments. Provide troubleshooting assistance during development, test, and implementation as well as during post-implementation support. Coordinate activities (including setting up meetings, documenting notes, following up on action items) and deliverables across all areas. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
