Visa:-ON H1B/CPT. Location:-Remote. Duration:- 9-12 Months. Purpose of Role:- Code and architecture review of already existing PLC programs and the integration of a large spectrum of functions, algorithms, and operations within these programs. Provide a documented report for all reviewed programs. Document the issues found and develop solutions and implementation test scripts. Support the implementation of identified modifications and updates. Collaboration with other internal functions (E.G QA/Operations/Engineering) Experience/Training Required: Expert level in designing PLC based programs and system and program architecture development considering all characteristics of applications: Data communication and interaction with PLC and PC based networks Electrical requirements for large distributed I/O and special functions cards Mechanical requirements In depth knowledge/experience with the following type of PLCs: Allen Bradley PLCs (AB) Siemens PLCs Schneider Electric PLCs Omron PLCs ABB PLCs/Robots Experience in integrating: Vision (AI) measurements (Cognex, Mitsubushi, NI etc) Special functions including Temperature (thermocouples), Pressure monitoring, High speed counters etc Experience with the following PLC programming languages: Ladder Diagram (LD)/Function Block Diagram (FBD)/Instruction List (IL)/Sequential Function Charts (SFC)/Structured Text (ST). Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of machine design and building with relevant work experience in a regulated high volume automated manufacturing environment. Experience in GDP, GAMP and cGMP in the Life Science Industry. Qualifications/Education Degree in Automation, Mechatronic or Automation Engineering .
