Job Description: Role: ServiceNow Platform Director Location: Remote (95%) | Travel Paid by Employer Healthcare experience Visa: USC and GC and GC-EAD Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Platform Director to lead the overall management, administration, and strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform within a large university medical center. This role will be instrumental in driving platform adoption, implementing new modules, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that ServiceNow delivers value across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of ServiceNow professionals, including architects, developers, and administrators. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for ServiceNow adoption and expansion across the organization. Oversee and manage the implementation of new ServiceNow modules to enhance operational efficiencies. Ensure effective governance, security, and compliance of the ServiceNow platform in collaboration with the ServiceNow Governance Committee. Act as the primary liaison between IT leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align ServiceNow initiatives with business goals. Identify opportunities for process automation and service improvements using ServiceNow capabilities. Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring a stable and efficient ServiceNow environment. Provide hands-on support when necessary to troubleshoot issues, configure workflows, or optimize system performance. Required Skills & Experience: Leadership & Management: Proven experience leading a team of ServiceNow professionals (architects, developers, administrators) in an enterprise environment. Strategic Roadmap Development: Ability to define and drive the long-term strategy for ServiceNow adoption and expansion. ServiceNow Implementation: Experience leading large-scale implementations and integrating new ServiceNow modules. Hands-on Expertise: Strong ability to step in and assist with technical issues, workflow configurations, and troubleshooting when needed. Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience working with C-level executives and business units to align IT initiatives with organizational goals. Healthcare Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in a healthcare provider environment is a plus. Qualifications: Experience Level: Expert (Director Level Experience Required) Minimum of 8+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM). ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (Preferred). Experience with workflow automation, business process improvements, and enterprise-wide ServiceNow integrations. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Work Environment: Large university medical center with approximately 30,000 employees. Mostly remote with occasional travel for key meetings and implementations (travel expenses covered by the employer).
