Quote to Cash and CPQ: Quote-to-Cash is the entire sales process from the initial quote generation to the final cash receipt (payment). Quote Generation, Order Management, Fulfillment, Billing. CPQ is integrated into the early stages of Quote to Cash; automates product configuration, pricing rules, and quote creation. Variant Configuration and CPQ: Variant Configuration = allows companies to configure complex products with multiple variants (e.g., cars with different models, features, colors, etc.) It uses configuration models, which consist of characteristics, dependencies, and values to define the different product options and variations.
