The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux system administration, AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, scripting, and Big Data solutions. The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in managing and optimizing deployment pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and driving scalability. This position is 100% on-site in San Antonio, TX. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.). Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet to manage infrastructure. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI (U.S. Citizenship required). Experience: 5+ years in DevOps Engineering or Software Development (Java preferred) with a Bachelors degree in a related field. 3 years with a Masters degree in a related field. 9 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong expertise in Linux administration and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.). Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet. Experience with automation, deployment, scaling, and management of applications. Ability to develop in multiple programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go). Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software development tools. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices. DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification required within 60 days of hire. Must be able to work 100% on-site in San Antonio, TX. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Hive, etc.). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
