Please read the JD Properly Position: Technical Writer Location: Remote Duration: 6-12 months Contract with possible extension/conversion Interview: 1st IV with (Sr. Director of Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure) and potentially other team members - Teams 1 hour Hiring Manager: Dustin Stark Candidates must have an Updated LinkedIn profile as per the resume with a picture Visa: Any Visa with Passport Number H1B is highly Consider Prime vender: Akkodis Must Have Skills: - Seniority Level/Target years of experience -BA fundamentals of 7-8+ years or technical writing experience. With at least 1-3 years of Disaster (DR) technical writing experience. MUST have DR planning experience Know how to draw in Visio - highly preferred Familiar with Swimlanes for charts and process activities (more of a plus) Must have good process mapping and operational play book development experience. MS tools experience/expose Ideally they come from healthcare, government, or retail industry experience This will support the DR planning for Choctaw's Healthcare system, its a big plus if they have this but not required. They need to know how to understand the applications in Choctaw's environment and the requirements for it to run, and maintained, reporting cadence, maintenance cadence. They need to be THIS detail oriented Communication maturity in having the ability to talk with technical and business colleagues effectively and ask the right questions to ascertain the right information to document accordingly. REQUIRED Soft Skills : MUST BE A SELF STARTER Needs to write great, speak well, a self starter, no hand holding, but strong enough to build relationship and document what is going on. Choctaw has operable that it is an easy environment, people are easily liked here, but people get thru their work day bc they choose to build the relationships. They NEED to be able to build relationships. No shy personality, needs to be able to push the technical people a bit or get creative in figuring out how to get them to communicate what they know. They need to figure out to how to work with everyone and think outside the box. PRESCREEN QUESTIONS: Ask situational questions about a time they developed a technical written procedure for a disaster planning.
