Job Title: Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer (NO /CPT/OPT) Job Location: Muskegon, MI (Onsite - No Exceptions) Job Type: Contract Job Description Must-Have Skills & Experience: 6+ years of DeltaV experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing setting. Strong process automation experience within DeltaV, including commissioning and qualification. Familiarity with ISA 88, GAMP, and cGAMP. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Develop automation code within DeltaV (Control Modules, Equipment Modules, Phases, Recipes). Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software errors within the DeltaV system. Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and qualification activities. Assist in planning, organizing, monitoring, and overseeing all phases of test automation. Participate in design and code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper requirements gathering. Develop familiarity with client manufacturing DeltaV system standards. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in scripting and test automation. Bachelors or Graduate degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, and SQL software is a plus. Soft Skills: Proactive problem solver with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
