Hi , We're reaching out to you regarding an exciting and immediate opportunity for a highly skilled Zscaler Admin/Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA Job Title: Zscaler App (Zapp) Administrator/Developer Location: Atlanta, GA Start Date: March 6, 2025 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zscaler App (Zapp) Administrator/Developer in Atlanta, GA. This role is critical for maintaining the stability and performance of our Zscaler environment, specifically focusing on the Zscaler App (Zapp). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Zscaler Cloud Security Services, a proven track record of managing Zapp in a production environment, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Responsibilities: Zapp Management: Administer and maintain the Zscaler App (Zapp) environment, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Proactively monitor Zapp client versions, identify and resolve issues, and log tickets for unexpected errors, understanding that these can indicate larger system problems. Compatibility & Integration: Ensure Zapp's compatibility with other applications and security solutions, minimizing disruptions and preventing outages. Updates & Deployments: Plan and execute Zapp updates (at least bi-annually), collaborating with Zscaler as needed. This includes reviewing release notes, developing fixes for client images, and managing the rollout process. Pilot Testing: Conduct pilot testing of new Zapp versions with select user groups before broader deployment. Policy Management: Manage Zapp group policies, including determining and assigning users to the appropriate policies. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure a seamless and secure user experience. Required Skills: 6-8 years of hands-on experience managing and administering Zscaler Zapp in a production environment. Deep understanding of Zscaler Cloud Security Services. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Zapp-related issues. Extensive experience with Zapp updates, deployments, and policy management. Strong understanding of network security principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desired Skills: Experience working directly with Zscaler support and resources. Familiarity with scripting or automation tools for Zapp management.
