Role: Senior Java Full Stack Developer Location: NYC, NY Duration: Long Term Interview: Video & In-Person Job Description: 12+ years of experience (UI, React, Java, and Scala) Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using React.js, Redux, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks. Build and optimize backend services using Java and Scala. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Implement and maintain APIs and microservices to support front-end functionalities. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility for seamless user experiences. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Optimize application performance and enhance the scalability of the full-stack architecture. Implement unit tests and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: 11+ years of experience in full-stack development with React.js and backend technologies. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Context API. Hands-on experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Proficiency in Java and Scala, with knowledge of backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Play Framework, or Akka. Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, or Cypress. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Terraform.
