Position: Material Compliance Engineer (Aerospace) Location: Cleveland, Ohio / Chicago Area / Minnesota Area / Dallas, TX (Onsite) Duration: Contract long term Job Description: Bachelors degree in electronics/mechanical/chemical engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in material compliance domain Good knowledge in tools like IMDS, CDX, SCIP IUCLID v6, IMDS A2, CAMDS, etc. Profound knowledge on global material regulations like REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, SCIP, TSCA, Conflict Minerals, ELV, GADSL, China RoHS, EU SRR, Hg restriction, Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT), EU DR etc. Should be up to date about the upcoming new regulations and any changes in existing international regulations in terms of material compliance. Good knowledge in IMDS submission, creation, validation, etc. Candidate must be able to create IMDS data using alternate documents other than BOM. Good knowledge in analyzing the BOM and supplier follow-up activities via emails and calls Candidate must be able to learn global regulations and other relevant tools. Candidate must maintain all project-related files in a proper manner Experience in dealing with supply chain and internal stakeholders very effectively Good knowledge on IPC 1752A declaration, Safety Data Sheets, Technical data sheets, Test report evaluation, Suppliers COCs evaluation. Knowing about Macros, Assent portal, RAPID sheet is an added advantage Very good communication skills Need to work independently at client location & be responsible for making sure the project progresses well.
