In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other data processing tools within the Azure ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Data Integration & ETL: Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into Azure data platforms like Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data Lake. Data Modeling & Architecture: Build and maintain data models that enable effective data analysis and decision-making, ensuring data quality and consistency. Collaboration: Work with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement the right solutions. Optimization & Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems, including ensuring cost-effective use of Azure resources. Data Governance & Security: Implement data governance and security practices to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, architecture, and best practices. Troubleshooting & Support: Address any issues related to data systems, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and provide ongoing support. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles with a focus on Azure technologies. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database. Strong background in ETL processes, data pipeline development, and cloud-based data integration. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud storage technologies such as Blob Storage and Data Lake Storage. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Azure Synapse Studio. Experience in working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Skills: Strong programming and scripting skills in languages like Python, SQL, or Scala. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and building data models. Proficiency in Azure tools and services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
