Job Title: Senior React UI Developer Location: Chicago, IL (Local candidates ) Job Type: Contract (H1B Eligible) Experience: 11+ years in React.js development Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior React UI Developer to join our development team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing complex and high-performance user interfaces using React.js and JavaScript. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading front-end development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering outstanding user experiences. This position is open to H1B visa holders, and we offer sponsorship for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities: React Development: Develop modern, responsive, and efficient user interfaces using React.js and Redux for state management. UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with the UI/UX design team to translate design prototypes into high-quality, functional code. Component Design: Design and build reusable UI components and libraries that can be utilized across multiple projects. Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of applications by applying best practices, including lazy loading, code splitting, and reducing render times. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with back-end developers and API teams to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and data. Testing & Debugging: Use tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress to create unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure application quality. Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality standards and implement best practices. Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the front-end team. Agile/Scrum Development: Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Documentation: Write clear documentation for the development process, codebase, and deployment processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 11+ years of professional experience in React.js development. Proven experience building responsive web applications using React and Redux. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating with backend services. Experience with modern front-end build tools and workflows like Webpack, Babel, and NPM.
