Job Overview: We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with a strong problem-solving mindset and expertise in Design Thinking to join our team in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for user journey mapping, conducting workshops, creating PSDs, and allocating tasks to the team. While deep UI expertise is not required, a solid understanding of UI principles is essential. This is a long-term opportunity to shape user experiences that drive impact. Key Responsibilities: Apply Design Thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and enhance user experiences. Develop user journey maps and translate insights into actionable designs. Utilize Figma and other tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and design assets. Create PSDs and ensure design consistency across projects. Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, brainstorm solutions, and align stakeholders. Oversee and allocate work within the design team to ensure smooth project execution. Requirements: Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on problem-solving through Design Thinking. Proficiency in Figma and other design tools. Strong ability to map user journeys and create intuitive design flows. Knowledge of UI principles (expert-level UI skills not required). Experience conducting workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage and allocate work within a team setting. Based in Columbia, SC or willing to relocate. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an agile environment. Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
