As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and a solid understanding of Kubernetes or other containerization technologies. What were looking for / Must-haves: 4 Year/bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering 7+ years of experience in application development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. 5+ years of experience working on various AWS Cloud services as Cloud Engineer or Architect experience. 3+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python/Pyspark to program and develop software. 3+ years of experience in creating complex technical specifications from business requirements/specifications. Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, IAM, Lambda, Athena, DMS etc. AWS Glue/ Python/ Database development experience Rest API development experience Moderate to senior database knowledge (PostgreSQL, Redshift) Experience with data integration technologies and ETL tools a plus Experience in writing CloudFormation templates and build IAM roles and policies. Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data security practices. Solid understanding of DevOps processes and best practices. Nice-to-haves Knowledge of insurance, financial systems/products Life Insurance, Annuity and 401k AWS Developer or Architect or Specialty Certification Knowledge of Liquibase deployment patterns. Knowledge of MuleSoft API is a plus. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus. Knowledge of MicroStrategy reporting is a plus. Looking forward to work with you !!
