The selected candidate will develop, enhance, maintain, and support web-based J2EE/Portal applications within HHSCs Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform, using Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance UI applications for Social Services platforms. Collaborate with users to analyze information needs, system flow, data usage, and work processes. Participate in requirements analysis, high-level & detailed design, development, testing, and deployment. Analyze UI frameworks and libraries for performance tuning. Create and maintain technical/design documentation. Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Ensure ADA/Accessibility Compliance in UI development. Implement best practices for design, performance, scalability, and maintainability. Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts. Develop and maintain data and process models as needed. Participate in code reviews, test walk-throughs, and technical discussions. Support CI/CD processes for deployment. Required Experience (8+ years in each area): Front End/UI Development using Angular (or similar frameworks) on a J2EE platform. Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) participation. UI Authentication & Authorization, Caching Strategies implementation. Programming: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven. Developing and optimizing enterprise-level Front End/UI applications. Implementing client-facing applications with responsive design. Developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using JavaScript frameworks like Angular. Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules/components. Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, performance, caching, and scalability. Developing and testing applications for ADA/Accessibility Compliance. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Karma, Jasmine, Selenium. Preferred Experience (5+ years in each area): Spring Boot Java applications. IBM WebSphere Application Server 8+. Agile development methodologies (Scrum preferred). Web applications developed for Cloud platforms. CI/CD pipeline integration.
