The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing Splunk solutions, managing Splunk Enterprise environments, and optimizing performance for large-scale data ingestion and analysis. As a Splunk Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable and high-performance architectures, integrating data sources, and leading Splunk-based analytics initiatives.Key Responsibilities: Splunk Architecture Design: Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of Splunk solutions across large-scale, complex environments. Design Splunk clusters, indexes, and search head configurations. Data Ingestion: Oversee and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines for a variety of log sources, including network logs, security logs, application logs, and cloud data. System Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize Splunk for high availability and performance, ensuring efficient data indexing, search speeds, and dashboard loading. Integration: Integrate Splunk with various data sources, including cloud platforms, security tools, and third-party applications. Splunk App Development: Develop custom Splunk apps and add-ons to meet business and technical requirements, including creating custom dashboards and visualizations. Security Monitoring: Use Splunk for security information and event management (SIEM) to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure the effective use of Splunk. Training & Mentoring: Mentor junior team members and provide training on best practices for using Splunk for data analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with new Splunk features, tools, and techniques to improve system functionality and performance. Documentation & Reporting: Document architecture designs, configurations, workflows, and processes. Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: 8+ years of experience working with Splunk, with at least 3+ years of experience as a Splunk Architect or in a similar technical leadership role. Proven experience in designing and deploying Splunk Enterprise environments in large, distributed systems.
