SQL Server Developer ( STRONG IN BANKING) Local to NYC and USC or GC holder only Contract-To-Hire PV Notes: Masters Degree from a US college, I will try and push, cannot find anyone suitable with Bachelors degree from a US college. They Must have recent investment banking industry experience. Please make sure he/she has extensive and recent experience with Redshift, AWS, BI, SQL and NOSQL with good communication Skills! Please submit with LinkedIn Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 6+ years of experience with SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning). Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift and related AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.). Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar). Proficiency in developing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large datasets. Strong experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight. Understanding of data warehouse design and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema). Knowledge of cloud security and best practices for data management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud data migration from SQL Server to AWS Redshift covered by a BI component Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation. Familiarity with big data tools like Athena, EMR, or Redshift Spectrum. AWS certification is a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics Specialty).
