Design, implement, and support complex data transformations, data quality, and cleansing routines. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Ab Initio tools and technologies. Work with other developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data integration solutions meet business needs. Create and maintain technical documentation for all ETL processes. Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data by performing thorough testing and validation of the developed workflows. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs and graphs for performance improvements and issue resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data architecture and data flow solutions. Stay updated on new Ab Initio features, best practices, and emerging data integration technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience working with Ab Initio for ETL development and data integration. Solid understanding of Ab Initio graph development, data profiling, and data transformation processes. Expertise in Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment), Co>Operating System, Express>IT, and Broadcom ETL tools. Strong experience in SQL and working with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata. Proficient in handling large data volumes, performance tuning, and optimizing ETL jobs. Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data lineage principles. Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and optimize complex workflows. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based data integration tools or platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting languages. Prior experience in Agile methodologies. Exposure to additional ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
