Role: Network Engineer Work Location: Denver, CO 80211 (initial remote) Duration: 12 months Skillset Requirement: Fortinet Firewall, SDWAN and SASE, Routing(BGP,OSP etc.), Switching(Vlan, STP, RSTP),VPN(L2/L3VPN), MPLS, Tunneling Protocols-IPSec, GRE, SSL/TSL, Web Security Technology. Position Overview: Network Solution/Design Engineer who possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing SDWAN solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in Fortinet network appliances with knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, particularly in Fortinet and SDWAN products. The SD-WAN SASE Design Engineer will be responsible for understanding complex networking requirements, translating them into robust SASE/SD-WAN designs, and leading the implementation process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Job Description : Expertise in Fortinet Network and Security products IP Routing - BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation Next Generation Firewall capabilities, configuration, and deployment primarily Knowledge of remote user access technologies and WAN Technologies (MPLS, MetroE, DIA, Broadband, Fiberplus) Configure, troubleshoot, and support Fortinet - SDWAN & SASE platforms. Fortinet- SWG, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI, Zero Trust. Hands-on experience in layer-3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), route redistribution, and route filtering Hands-on experience in layer-2 protocols (Spanning-tree, HSRP).
