US Citizens or GC Skype Need 3 candidate Max RIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works day-to-day activities as assigned into Tier 2 - 4 support queue and provides direction to the BI extended team, including BI vendors. - Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. - Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to develop high-level design - Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions (e.g. develops data models, data movement processes, report development, etc.) - Develops and supports the multidimensional semantic layer, meta-data, and BI query objects for end-user consumption. - Writes complex SQL, MDX, DAX queries, stored procedures, and functions from our relational and dimensional databases and objects for end-user consumption. - Perform analysis, research complex report and data inquiries and provide appropriate response to end user - Collaborate with analysts and department leaders to design, build and customize reports and reporting packages using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI. - Troubleshoots BI-related problems, fixes bugs and tunes for performance. - Executes proof of concept to validate ideas or technologies. - Ensures data accuracy for the reports and certify testing for all possible conditions. - Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of excellence. NOTES FROM CALL WITH HIRING MANAGER: Looking for a BI Systems Analyst/Developer, pretty standard role. This is a semi tech position not a pure Systems Analyst role. Currently onboarding a strategic client to the dental platform Currently use MS Stack: SQL, MS SSRS, Power BI (for dashboard) Systems analyst will need to have conversations with internal & external clients. Comprehend the REQ and translate into technical specifications. Would like candidate to have some exposure to reporting. System analyst position in this role is like a swiss army skill. Candidate will also be testing off the work and independently be able to write short SQL queries. day will usually be talking and capturing requirements and converting to specs. Filling the gaps. day will be working with the developer for data solutions, testing and providing back to client. KPI+, if candidate has Dental experience bring it, wed love to see this, but its a niche skill set and hard to find. Healthcare is good.
