The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in migrating legacy Oracle applications, troubleshooting Oracle Forms and Reports, and working with multiple database technologies like SQL Server and PostgreSQL. They should have a strong background in performance tuning, writing stored procedures, and implementing secure data handling across schemas and servers. Experience in an Agile development environment, along with expertise in scripting database migrations, developing Web PL/SQL applications, and integrating with modern reporting tools like Power BI, would be highly valuable. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working collaboratively in project teams while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills in handling complex database-driven applications. Key Responsibilities: Analyze project requirements and develop server and client software throughout its lifecycle. Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, including PL/SQL, SSL, table normalization, and performance tuning. Develop and support applications using Oracle Forms and Reports, including troubleshooting and reverse engineering of legacy applications. Implement database components in alignment with client specifications and ensure secure data handling across schemas and servers. Optimize SQL queries and contribute to database design, including working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies. Write scripts to migrate objects and data across different databases. Develop functions, procedures, Web PL/SQL, and other Oracle Database packages. Assist in migrating solutions to alternative technologies, including converting Oracle Reports to other platforms. Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, security best practices, and version control protocols. Participate in Agile project team activities, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Provide after-hours support for application maintenance, database upgrades, and emergency support as needed. Advise the team and management on technical decisions, ensuring best practices in software development and security.
