Role: Sr. Java full stack Developer Location of work: Boston, MA, 4 days onsite Duration: 6-12+ months Any visa is Fine (GC IS not workable) Passport no. is mandatory Need 10+ Profile minimum Description The resource has to be onsite for 4 days. Responsibilities Include: Lead all team members by providing them guidance in application design, coding and best practices. Work with business, product management and the IT teams to manage the eCommerce Application and associated services. Work with Architecture team to layout, document and explain new applications and their design and improve upon existing application designs. Work with other IT teams to design, implement, help deploy and maintain application systems related to Insurance eCommerce and related services, including estimating application performance requirements and storage requirements based on user volume. Work with Production Support to help troubleshoot applications in primarily a Production environment and other environments as necessary. Work with Management to estimate the work in terms of time and manpower required involved in developing new applications, enhancements and problem fixes. Deliver quality application code that is tested in the Dev environment to QA in a timely manner as promised along with documentation as required. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in developing integrated server-side applications (Java/RDBMS). Experience with JBoss (or other application servers), Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot. Experience with SVN and CI/CD processes using Jenkins. Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS and setting up DevOps pipelines with Jenkins. AWS Certification is a plus. Exposure to A/B Testing tools. Experience with developing Spring RESTful Web Services. Good understanding of non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, maintainability and security. Good understanding of web application security. Effective interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. You must be able to multitask, pay attention to detail and execute effective follow through.
