From: shrasti singh, vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Blue Yonder TMS Solution Architect Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long term contract Work Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/week Job description: The TMS Enterprise Solution Architect core responsibilities will focus your efforts as the lead end to end Architect in execution of Blue Yonder Transportation Manager. You will be the functional liaison across key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution. The TMS Enterprise Solution Consultant is required to work independently, as well as in a team with clients and software engineers. This is a customer-oriented role providing professional unmatched customer service and support. Essential Job Functions essential: Leveraged as the Blue Yonder TMS Solution expert for transformational projects and programs Provides assistance to identify the Change Management efforts needed for global or regional program implementations. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for users, management, and executive level audiences. Provides guidance and influences customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology. Ability to estimate the effort of task level implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate roles to execute those tasks. Able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints. Demonstrate and facilitate integration discussions of product functionality and product architecture within a suite of products (i.e. Show data and process flow from one BY solution to another) JOB Server job creation Optimizer and general integration configuration and testing Conducts/leads business process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project. Lead the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements. Provides level 3 non-technical support to the implementation teams during "go-live" period and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity. Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects. Serves as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution/Technical Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors. Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with a key customer project team. Provide guidance to support the development and execution of test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder software consistently meets the customers business objectives. Assists Project Manager(s) in planning/ re-planning efforts and review, analyze and approve the impact assessment for proposed changes to the application architecture. Supports Business Consultants or Solution Architects in creating and modifying procedural and system documentation throughout the project. Non - e s s e n t i a l Job Functions Provide feedback for team member reviews Contribute to internal process improvements Other duties as assigned Qualifications Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. Bachelors Degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree Skills / Experience Required Minimum 7 years of specific experience working within Blue Yonders Transportation Management Systems, either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder TMS for customers. Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions may be considered Strong business analysis skills, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required In-depth knowledge of Blue Yonder Transportation Manager and technical architectures Knowledge of operational processes in Supply Chain Management Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with team members, customers and partners Strong proactive communicator and ability to respond to highly specialized technical questions Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively and proactively work independently as well as on a team Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions Ability to adhere to scope and schedule of projects Other Requirements Ability to travel up to 50%+ annually Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds Keywords: golang Blue Yonder TMS Solution Architect || Remote [email protected] |
