The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hyperion suite (such as Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM) with experience in developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level financial solutions. As a Hyperion Developer, you will work on creating robust, scalable financial systems and enhancing existing ones to ensure seamless business operations. Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial systems using Hyperion Suite (Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Financial Management HFM). Design, configure, and maintain applications, including building out custom reports, calculations, and data integrations. Work with functional teams to gather and understand requirements to deliver effective Hyperion solutions. Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize performance issues in Hyperion applications. Perform system administration, including user setup, security, and workflow management. Design and develop custom Hyperion reports, dashboards, and business rules. Integrate Hyperion applications with other enterprise systems such as ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Support the data loading process, including ETL processes. Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities as needed. Provide end-user training and support, assisting with technical issues. Document technical specifications, designs, and support procedures. Requirements: Experience: 3+ years of experience with Hyperion products such as Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and HFM. Technical Skills: Strong experience with Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications (building, developing, and maintaining). Expertise in writing complex business rules and calculation scripts in Hyperion. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server). Familiarity with Hyperion Data Integration (HDI), FDMEE, and EPM Automate. Reporting Skills: Proficient in creating and troubleshooting reports using Hyperion Financial Reports (HFR) or Smart View. Scripting: Experience with MaxL, Essbase calculations, and custom scripting for automation and integration. Cloud: Knowledge of cloud-based Hyperion/Oracle solutions (Oracle EPM Cloud) is a plus. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
