Job Title: SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant Location: Austin, TX / Santa Clara, CA (onsite) Job Type: Contract Visa Sponsorship: H1B Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP GTS, with expertise in managing global trade processes, customs compliance, and trade documentation. You will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP GTS solutions to streamline international trade operations and ensure compliance with trade regulations. H1B visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities: SAP GTS Implementation: Lead and support the implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions, ensuring alignment with global trade and compliance processes. Configure SAP GTS modules including Customs Management, Risk Management, and Trade Compliance. Design and implement solutions to optimize customs declarations, import/export processing, and compliance with international trade laws. Process Design & Optimization: Analyze and design business processes related to global trade, import/export, and customs compliance. Develop and configure business rules for export compliance, customs declarations, product classification, and other trade-related activities. Optimize processes in SAP GTS to ensure accurate trade documentation, reduce operational costs, and improve trade compliance efficiency. Cross-Module Integration: Integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, etc.) to ensure seamless flow of trade and logistics data across the system. Work with external systems (such as third-party logistics, customs brokers, or compliance tools) to integrate GTS with the broader supply chain ecosystem. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that all global trade processes comply with applicable international trade regulations, customs laws, and corporate policies. Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor and audit global trade activities and compliance. Stay up-to-date with changes in trade regulations and ensure the SAP GTS system is updated accordingly. Support & Training: Provide ongoing support to business users and troubleshoot issues related to SAP GTS. Conduct user training sessions on GTS functionality and best practices. Assist with post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the systems performance. Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of experience working with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). Proven experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP GTS solutions, including Customs Management, Risk Management, and Export Compliance. Experience with SAP GTS integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO) and third-party tools. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of global trade regulations, customs processes, and trade compliance standards. Proficiency in SAP GTS module configurations, including Business Rules, Product Classification, Customs Declarations, and Export Compliance. Knowledge of integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/S4HANA. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues efficiently and optimize global trade processes. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders. Visa: Must be eligible for H1B visa sponsorship. Preferred: Certification in SAP GTS or related SAP modules. Experience with SAP S/4HANA GTS functionality. Knowledge of trade compliance in various regions (EU, APAC, Americas). Familiarity with customs brokers, import/export regulations, and duty management. Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions and digital trade management tools.
