Project Manager Supporting DHHS: The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications. (Firewall, VIP, F5 Listener, Port, etc.) Possess a basic understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, web and virtual/cloud environments. Assist in evaluation of technical requirements and propose solutions that meet business objectives while adhering to SOM best practices and industry standards. This Position will: Ensure consistency with the State of Michigan (SOM) project management methodology (SUITE), investment management and systems engineering methodology. Perform long-term release planning based on organizational direction. Regularly interact with the project management teams for status of budget, quality, and schedule.
