Role :oracle hcm with payrolls Location Newark, NJ (Hybrid) Summary 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, including Oracle Cloud Payroll, and strong proficiency in SQL. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and troubleshooting our Human Capital Management (HCM) system, with a specific focus on the Payroll module. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to implement system enhancements, perform data analysis, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of our HCM data. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess a deep understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud functionality, Payroll processes, and SQL-based reporting. Roles & Responsibilities: Support and maintain the Oracle HCM Cloud system, with a strong focus on the Oracle Cloud Payroll module, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business requirements. Conduct system configurations, updates, and enhancements related to Payroll processes based on evolving business needs and system upgrades. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and improve business processes within the Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll environment. Perform system testing, including unit, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for HCM and Payroll modules. Develop and execute complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for reporting, auditing, and troubleshooting purposes, particularly related to Payroll data. Monitor and troubleshoot Payroll system issues, working with Oracle support as necessary to resolve problems related to payroll processing, tax calculations, deductions, and other Payroll-related functionalities. Provide technical support and training to HR and Payroll teams on HCM Cloud system functionality and reporting tools. Create and maintain user documentation, process workflows, and system documentation to ensure efficient system use, particularly for Payroll operations. Assist with data migration, data mapping, and integration efforts between Oracle HCM Cloud, Payroll, and other enterprise systems. Analyze and identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR and Payroll processes and workflows within the HCM system. Collaborate with the HR and Payroll teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the system, particularly in relation to payroll processing and reporting. Skills 7+ years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, including Oracle Cloud Payroll and core modules such as Core HR, Talent Management, or Learning. Proficient in SQL for querying databases and creating custom reports, especially related to Payroll data. Strong understanding of Payroll processes, including tax calculations, deductions, and compliance within Oracle Cloud Payroll. Familiarity with HCM reporting tools and analytics within Oracle Cloud. Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s), including Payroll certifications, is a plus. Experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll integrations and understanding of API usage.
