Job Title : Cloud Developer Location: Atlanta, GA Visa: No H1B, OPT MOI: Skype : Delta Airlines Cloud Developer with experience creating AWS Lambdas using Node.js Job details : Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Developer to join our team for a long-term engagement in Atlanta, GA (College Park). The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions. This role involves designing and implementing modular architectures for data streaming, cloud transformation/migration, and API development supporting critical business applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop secure, scalable, and modular solutions for data streaming, cloud transformation, and API product development. Build data APIs and data delivery services that support both operational and analytical applications for internal business operations, customers, and partners. Develop data-centric products spanning multiple platforms, technologies, and specializations. Analyze technical requirements and produce high-quality software solutions. Collaborate proactively with teammates and stakeholders, offering creative solutions to technical challenges. Work within automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment and delivery. Maintain expertise on products developed and document solutions using written reports and diagrams. Follow developer coding standards to align with design goals and business needs. Identify, articulate, and prioritize technical issues while maintaining proactive communication with teams and leadership. Collaborate closely with vendors and cross-functional teams to drive project success. Required Qualifications: Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript. Strong experience building secure Node.js Lambdas across multi-region AWS active-active environments. Advanced expertise in AWS CDK for infrastructure as code. Hands-on experience setting up CloudWatch dashboards and alarms for system monitoring. Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience with a focus on quality and maintainability. Proven ability to build SLAs and SLOs for effective system monitoring and performance tracking. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills able to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team. High integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with multiple cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Proficiency in Python, Java, scripting (Bash, Power), and SQL. Experience with real-time streaming and event-driven architectures. Hands-on experience with Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, and Redshift. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and infrastructure automation. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
