This role involves developing and implementing technical solutions to support internal and external customer data exchange and integration needs. The successful candidate will have expertise in database applications, ETL processes, automation, and HIPAA X12 EDI transactions (277, 835, 837, 997, 999, TA1). Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement complex data extracts, applications, and ad-hoc queries using SQL Server, SSIS, Informatica, and .NET technologies. Build and maintain custom flat files, EDI transactions, and user applications with a focus on healthcare encounters and HIPAA X12 formats (277, 835, 837, 997, 999, TA1). Maintain and support Business Intelligence products and solutions, ensuring timely resolution of production issues. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery. Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements and ensure data quality and system accuracy. Define, develop, and maintain data standards and processes to improve efficiency. Drive continuous improvement and automation in BI solutions and processes. Mentor other developers and provide technical guidance as needed. Support organizational goals by working closely with the management team. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum 4 years as a Developer, Data Analyst, or equivalent implementing technical solutions (extracts, middleware, stored procedures, EDI, ETL packages). Technical Expertise: SQL Server , Transact-SQL (T-SQL), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Experience with Informatica, C#, and XML (highly desirable). Managed File Transfer Automation : FTP, SFTP, PGP. Strong knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (SQL Server, Structured Query Language). Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills. Qualifications (Must to Have): PHI Data Handling: Familiarity with best practices for handling Protected Health Information (PHI). Insurance Claims Knowledge: Understanding of dental or medical insurance claims processing. EDI Expertise: Hands-on experience with HIPAA X12 EDI transaction formats (277, 835, 837, 997, 999, TA1). Success Factors: To excel in this role, the candidate must: Deliver accurate and efficient data extracts, applications, and automated processes. Demonstrate a deep understanding of HIPAA X12 transactions and the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues. Exhibit strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and maintain data integrity.
