Duration: 10 monthsJob Description
We are looking for a Security Automation Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto XSOAR, Splunk, and Python development. The ideal candidate will have strong SOAR platform customization experience, deep knowledge of SIEM systems, and a passion for cybersecurity automation.Key Responsibilities
Customize and enhance the Palo Alto XSOAR platform to streamline security operations.
Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication between SOC systems.
Onboard new data sources to Splunk (or other SIEM tools) and perform regular maintenance.
Evaluate and deploy external proof-of-concept security tools.
Automate manual SOC tasks to improve efficiency and incident response.Essential Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in customizing SOAR platforms (preferably Palo Alto XSOAR).
5+ years of experience in Python development with web frameworks like Django or Flask.
Strong expertise in log management & SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk).
US Citizenship is required.Desirable Skills
Front-end development skills: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS.
API development: Experience with RESTful APIs for seamless SOC integrations.
Database knowledge: SQL or other relational databases.
Strong communication skills and documentation abilities.
Cybersecurity expertise: Understanding of incident response (SecOps) and threat intelligence tools.
Experience with Linux, Git, and Nginx.
