Job Title: Azure DevOps Lead Release Management Location: Bridgewater, NJ Job Type: Contract H1b Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead with a strong background in Release Management to join our team in Bridgewater, NJ. The ideal candidate will lead the development and optimization of the DevOps pipeline, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely releases. You will play a key role in managing and automating the release process for multiple applications and ensuring high-quality deployments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage DevOps processes and tools using Azure DevOps to enable streamlined deployment pipelines for various environments (development, testing, staging, production). Oversee the Release Management process, ensuring smooth and efficient application deployments with minimal disruption to end-users. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including automating build, deployment, and testing processes. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to manage and optimize the release cycle and improve the quality and speed of deployments. Automate repetitive tasks and improve deployment and release processes through scripting and Azure DevOps tools. Manage version control, branching strategies, and source code integration in Git. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, providing technical leadership to the team. Conduct post-deployment reviews and ensure smooth rollback strategies when necessary. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and DevOps best practices. Provide training and mentoring to junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Maintain release schedules and ensure timely delivery of new features, bug fixes, and updates. Continuously monitor and report on the health of the CI/CD pipeline and recommend improvements.
