Position: GCP Data Engineer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Need Locals Duration: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: Expert experience with Google Cloud, RDBMS, Python, No-SQL DBs, data modelling, and ETL/ELT processes. Expert experience with Python and SQL, with focus on data manipulation and analysis. Expert experience with building, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines. Expert experience with sourcing and profiling highly variable data. Expert experience in software craftsmanship, behaviour-driven development (BDD), and unit testing. Strong people skills must be able to form strong, meaningful, and lasting collaborative relationships. Strong experience with cloud infrastructure services with preference for experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong experience with MongoDB, Big Query, Jira, Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, GCP Deployment Manager, Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, and Apache Spark.
