Job Description - Windows OS Deployment Administrators Onsite : Hanscom Air Force Base, MA 6 months Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Windows OS Deployment Administrator to join their team at Hanscom AFB. This role involves configuring and deploying Windows OS upgrades, including scripting and documentation, to support a global enterprise network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, Windows OS configuration, and troubleshooting. This is a contract position that offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: Configure and deploy Windows OS upgrade packages, including creating supportive scripting and documentation. Modify Windows 11 upgrade packages and deployment scripting based on testing outcomes. Test Windows 11 images in a Test Facility/Lab environment, identifying and resolving issues. Document testing processes and outcomes in the Lab environment to ensure consistency and quality. Prepare documentation for production rollout, distribution, and testing of the deployment. Troubleshoot issues with production deployment configurations, commands, and scripts. Manage the operation and sustainment of the BMC Client Management (BCM) deploy tool across the Enterprise. Assist with Active Directory issues as they relate to patching and configurations. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or 3 years with a PhD in a related field. Must possess an active DOD Secret Clearance or higher. Active Security+ CE certification is required. Experience with Operating Systems deployment and upgrade automation toolsets (MECM, BCM deployment, and/or Tanium deployment of Windows OS). Proven knowledge of Enterprise IT networks in large scale business environments. Experience managing Active Directory at a moderate to advanced level. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document processes and procedures clearly and effectively. Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
