We have an immediate opening for the below position with one of our premium clients Job Title: Lead Architect Java Microservices, GenAI, Python & Cloud Location: Whippany, NJ - Onsite Experience Level: Architect Employment Type: Long Term Contract Must Haves: Microservices Architecture, Java, Gen AI, Python, NoSQL Databases, Cloud Job Overview: We are seeking a Lead Architect with deep expertise in Microservices Architecture, Java, Python for GenAI, NoSQL Databases, and Cloud Platforms. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on coding, and the ability to design scalable, AI-powered microservices solutions. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance, cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities: Architect and lead the development of scalable, distributed systems using Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus, etc.). Design and implement AI-driven microservices solutions, leveraging Python for GenAI applications. Define and enforce best practices for software architecture, cloud deployment, and microservices communication patterns. Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, etc.) to design efficient data storage solutions. Oversee the end-to-end system design, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Lead cloud-native architecture decisions across AWS, GCP, or Azure. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Guide engineering teams on event-driven architecture, API management, and system performance optimization. Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML and cloud technologies and drive innovation in architecture and development. Key Skills & Requirements: 10+ years of experience in software development & architecture. Proven expertise in Java for designing microservices architectures. Advanced proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI), LLMs, and AI model deployment. Strong experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cassandra. Deep knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their native services. Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and API gateways. Strong understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and fault-tolerant architecture. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-driven messaging frameworks. Ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence. Nice to Have: Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS) for AI-driven applications. Understanding of MLOps & AI model lifecycle management. Exposure to security best practices in cloud-based microservices. Knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, Cloud Functions, etc.).
