Role: Release Train Engineer Location: Louisville, KY (Remote) Duration: Contract Job Description: Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered. Spent 5+ years acting as an Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer in a fast-paced technology-based environment. Current Release Train Engineer 6.0 (SAFe-RTE) certification. Has deep knowledge of Agile principles and the ability to transfer that knowledge to new and evolving environments. Working knowledge of product lifecycle processes and deliverables. Must have deep knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework, Lean, and Product Development Flow principles in their enterprise context. Experience with large-scale software delivery and/or Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise organizations. Willingness to be transparent with everyone regarding team and ART performance, issues faced, and delivery impediments. Believes in and thrives in a culture of collaboration, relentless improvement, and trust across the team. Willingness to report to the office for critical events. This is limited to agreed-upon face-to-face meetings with product and technology leaders. Willingness to work Eastern time zone hours. Experience in coaching and demonstrating facilitation of core agile practices including but not limited to: Kanban, Value stream mapping, Feature and story backlog prioritization and grooming, Release planning (Program Increment), Iteration/Sprint planning, Metrics (at all levels), Story distribution practices including estimation, Agile ceremonies (Scaled agile at all levels). Proficiency using of Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) and Atlassian Jira Align tools at the team, ART, and portfolio levels.
