From: Peter, Elite ISINC peter@eliteisinc.com Reply to: peter@eliteisinc.com Hello There Hope you are doing well Please have a look at the below position and let me know if you would like to apply Title: L3 Network Engineer Location: Reno, NV - ONSITE Duration: 12 Months Rate: $70/hr on C2C MAX Description Were looking for a CCNP certified L3 Network Engineer to: Work in a mission-critical role as a SRE ( Site Reliability) L3 Network Engineer in the Network Services team responsible for day-to-day technical and service oversight of our regional health enterprise network Provide technical oversight across the network environment specifically across operational activities, major incidents, and problem management, but also across review and advisory activities for implementation projects Be closely involved in tooling and projects to automate network workflows Work with the architecture, engineering, capabilities owners/managers, vendor management and service providers teams to onboard new products and represent operations as required to ensure acceptance into service is successfully delivered Manage operational related internal client communication and escalations as needed and proactively drive incident resolutions Work closely with IT leadership to make a real impact in terms of production stability, continuous service improvement and best practice sharing across the environment Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: CCNP (Verifiable Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification in routing and switching. 7+ years experience required, preferably in a healthcare provider environment. Ability to design, deploy, and maintain OSPF, MPLS, BGP, VPN and VRF network cores. Ability to troubleshoot, design, deploy, and maintain all network cross functional devices (Cisco heavy environment) Functional understanding of Layer 2 functions and switching (VLAN, VXLAN, STP, MAC Filtering, etc.) Experience with Cisco is mandatory; experience with Palo is an advantage High level of understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols. Experience with Cisco NXOS, IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR. Ability to interpret and apply complex technical information. Knowledge of industry standard network systems design and implementation. Knowledge of security and communications networks; and knowledge of technical and user-related aspects of a personal computer environment, preferred. Working knowledge and experience with the following is preferred: DNAC, ISE, TACACS+, RADIUS, DNS, DHCPv4, DHCPv6, or IPAM/DDI. Problem Solving: identifies and resolves problems timely; gathers and analyzes information effectively; develops alternative solutions; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics.
