The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of SQL Server databases while also leveraging Power BI to develop insightful reports and dashboards. This is an onsite role requiring hands-on database management, query optimization, and reporting expertise. Key Responsibilities: Administer, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases (installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery). Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize queries for efficiency. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable business insights. Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for SQL Server environments. Collaborate with development and BI teams to support data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting needs. Ensure database security, compliance, and governance best practices. Automate repetitive database tasks and optimize indexing strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA managing large-scale databases. Strong expertise in SQL Server (2016 and later), T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization. Hands-on experience in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization. Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration. Expertise in SQL Server security, auditing, and compliance. Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS is a plus. Strong understanding of cloud-based database environments (Azure SQL, AWS RDS for SQL Server) is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, onsite environment.
