Supports business apps and responsible for leading disaster recovery. Working knowledge in Linux, UNIX & z/OS operating systems. Proficient with Mainframe Development as well as modern Object-Oriented development. Need to be able to develop in both a legacy Mainframe TSO environment and a modern server/container environment using common IDEs and development tools. Knowledge and experience in transformation/modernization of processing high volumes of data via Mainframe processing to scalable On-prem Distributed or Cloud processing via microservices and containers. Knowledge of the following: File Transmission (FTP/NDM) & batch processing in very high-volume settings is required.
